Cash flow

In previous post I used Marmon as a replacement for capitalism. I state that they were attracted to the spread put out by Marmon as if it was an evil to be eliminated. In truth, what I am trying to say that it cannot be eliminated. We lived in a capitalist world. By capitalist, I mean, worker's by it's very nature are meant to be exploited. This means, for every dollar that you earn, a large proportion will go to the capital owner.

This is a lot harder to consume than to say that God of Money is looming large over your life. That is why I am actually quite disappointed with a lot other's whom are not able to see that, the capitalist world should aid you and not enslaved you.

When the boss asks you to reply an email at 3am via your Blackberry, you are enslaved by the capitalist world. Insofar that, Blackberry is an invention of the capitalist world and yet you are actually stuck to an umbilical cord by the very thing that one wishes to praise or to be prized over.

How then a capitalist man be said to be in control when one is swept by waves of capitalist invention.

I used to be a banker and I used to say that many times, I was quite proud of it until one realized how stupid some bankers are turning out to be servants of the capital world.

My ex-colleague was a bright kid and he calls himself sharp and he was a ex-banker, just like myself. But he was like a child on sugar simply because he swept by capitalism. He suffers from trappings of the Marmon god and was constantly changing his mind on matters and was extremely "energetic" because of how fast trends can change the world. He was such a energy bunny because consumers knew more and much faster about he does and the only way, one can stay ahead is to go with the trends. But in reality, he has no idea what is happening.

He has not been able to find that one thing that makes  him know how the capitalist world tick, and he has to find out himself.

The capitalist world rides on cash flow. Your business is only as good as your cash flow or even your cash flow projection. And if you had a business that requires your to report negative cash flow and not necessarily "profits", your business is as good as dead. This means that if you are incapable to even foresee positive cash flow for your business, you would have to be really "entrepreneurial", which means having to find ways to make your business tick.

When you "entrepreneurial", rather than a "blue chip", what does that mean, you are always finding ways to find business and having to worry about "cash flow" every single day. It also means you have a "bad" business.

Think of Microsoft, is it a blue chip company,. Think about Apple prior to the iPhone and the iOS, ha that is the difference. If you have no control over your cash flow, you have no control over your company.

Hence that is why I called my friend an absolute "dickhead".

People who works have a positive cash flow, while me on the other hand doesn't. But what these people never realize is that is cash flow the most important thing in the world.

Is that the way, you want to live your life.
