Be Smart and don't out-smart yourself

I was thinking about how the environment can affect your decisions. The thing about using your environment to get competitive advantage which means to get a favourable decision is predicated on one simple thing- the asymmetry of information. The moment that the opposite party realises that it is the target of environment pruning, all decisions must be questioned- the ring master can and will have the tables turned against him/her.

The thing about such behaviour is that just because play exactly the way you wish it for you to play- it is almost too good to be true. The instrumental thinking is exactly the weakest link where since I have constructed the route, and you walk through it therefore I must be right- is simply that the action is simply the extension of the brain.

I can always do one thing and think another- simply because you expect it. When you do one thing, I will do the direct opposite just to throw you off guard. Since I lead you by the crumbs that you yourself lay yourself, it is easily that I can I will enter your paradigm and fudge your cause and effect.

This means that when you think that the effect of certain decisions is caused by your actions, you start to create a pattern by which your own actions are directly influenced by the decisions of others.

Everytime, I enter a shopping mall where I have to go a longer route around just to get to the second floor, I know exactly that this is what they expect the behaviour of everyone and used it to their advantage rather than to the “exact benefit” of the people they are targeting.

Since you see that, people in the previous post attempt to fudge my decision making ability, I simply will do it in a manner which does not need me to draw myself in unnecessarily. Since Singapore is not receptive to someone which prides itself on achievements rather than the length of service, I would simply carry my bags overseas and do what other locals would not or cannot do.

I would rather wait on tables overseas and drive a taxi overseas than to do it locally simply because, I don’t need to persist on a decision simply because I am suppose to walk the route someone conspire to make it look like it was natural. It is not natural when you know all roads only lead to one outcome. Hence you see when you attempt to manipulate the environment in order to gain compliance- it is best to ensure that the asymmetry of information is permanent. Otherwise, no amount of name-calling, stigma attachment, blacklisting, surveillance or even hounding will change the decision the person unless violence is expressedly demonstrate. The point of it all is not to demonstrate violence in an open manner but to gain an expressed compliance.

Hence since, if the employment situation is to persist where it is prejudicial to my interest, I would simply pack my bags and take a chance somewhere else then to pretend that the world is going to swing my way. Nothing is coincidental- my dear friend. Absolutely nothing.

If it is too good to be true, it often is.
